"Brochure" Websites: Simple, static, low or no maintenance website. Might be graphic-rich or not, depending on link referrals and need. May or may not have some Flash animation. Could be temporary or long-term. Any changes to it would require either HTML editing skills and tools or access to a web developer.
Content Management System (CMS) Websites: Simple to complex sites where the clients want control over their content on their terms on their schedule and without hiring contract work to do it. BCSWebstudio deploys the free and hugely popular opensource content management system Drupal to free clients to perform their own updates, open possibilities like blogging, photo galleries, categorized content, user forums, and on and on. Drupal Consulting and Theming: While the Drupal CMS makes managing website content a breeze, back-end maintenance is a must and is not for the faint of heart. BCSWebstudio will work with you on your existing Drupal website on maintenance, expansion, and migration. We also help with theming and general Drupal consulting.
Stand-Alone Kiosks: Our favorite sort of work is with effective user interface design. Data-driven or static informational, stand-alone kiosks at point of sale or public spaces like parks and museums can be an effective marketing tool, and BCSWebstudio can connect you with the hardware and customized interface you need to deploy a kiosk for your clientele. Navigating Free Tools: If you want to design and build your own site, BCSWebstudio offers flat-fee one-hour consultations to recommend sites with free web hosting and the easiest interfaces for developing and deploying a simple personal website. We will also teach you how to register your domain name and have that domain used in your email address. Further guidance can be obtained for a minimal hourly fee.
