Brazos Heritage Society Website
Brazos Heritage Society is dedicated to preserving the cultural heritage of Brazos County and combat the deterioration of older parts of our community through education, advocacy, and special projects.
BCSWebstudio was contracted by Brazos Heritage Society to rein in their old website login information, provide some basic, long-overdue content updates, and design and rebuild a completely new website for a cleaner, more refined look, and to provide a content management system to allow them to perform their own content updates.
Case Study:
Prior to a website rebuild, some immediate website updates needed to be performed. However, their site was hosted at Yahoo Business Services, and the login credentials were lost with the unexpected disappearance of their previous web designer. With familiarity with technology and a variety of web hosting providers, we were able to resurrect lost credentials to their original website and step in and perform some much-needed, long overdue content updates to get them back on their feet.
The website we delivered is built atop Drupal. Its content can be completely updated by the site owners, including uploading or linking to .mp3 audio files for their featured Heritage Highlights radio program episodes. Brazos Heritage Society is now able to receive print and email newsletter subscription and membership requests via their website, and they independently manage their online content.
